About
I was born and raised in Minnesota where I grew up playing backyard football, spending time at the lake, and building snow forts.
I attended the University of Iowa where I earned a degree in computer engineering, with minors in computer science and mathematics and an emphasis on business.
After college, I moved to the Kansas City area to work as a software engineer. As I progressed in my career, I discovered my passion for web development and eventually moved into the agency world, where I developed my front end development skills.
I now operate my own web development company, kcweb.co.
I pride myself on coding clean, semantic HTML and having a strong attention to detail. It is very important to ensure a website meets the design requirements, and the site functions across all major browsers. I am also a strong proponent of responsive design, as it ensures a website will adapt to all devices and browsers.
Outside of developing websites, I enjoy spending time on the lake, tailgating for sporting events, playing league basketball and spending time with family and friends.
